A major fake ID gang has been busted in Delhi, and the details are shocking. On April 19, the police received a tip-off and raided a shop in the Chitli Kabar area. A man named Ashish was caught with many fake documents, including 121 Aadhaar cards, 73 fake PAN cards, 181 voter ID cards, and other forged papers like birth certificates and mark sheets.
The gang used fake thumb impressions and iris scans to access the Aadhaar system illegally and update people's names, birth dates, and addresses. Two more people were arrested later, and one is still on the run. The police also seized laptops and hard drives filled with editing software and document templates.
